I was elated when D informed me she and her husband were coming to NY for a week. It's been so many years since the last time we met. We planned an outdoor session with sunflares and all that jazz of natural light. But the weather in NY was not forgiving that week, with pouring rain almost every day.
We decided to visit the museum and took some shots there. They really were like high school sweethearts, holding hands and joking all the time. I didn't have to direct them that much because their connection and bond were apparent. These love birds were super fun to work with. After a few hours at the museum, we decided to explore the Chelsea Market and High Line.
D is a photographer herself with an elegant style and great eyes. Capturing her made me so nervous! Thank you for the opportunity and the flexibility in changing locations, trying different poses, and embracing the rain.
